چکیده

In this work, multi-promoters, including potassium, manganese and titanium, were incorporated into iron catalyst for improving CO2 hydrogenation the influences of each promoter investigated in detail. Besides, content component was optimized to achieve a well-matching tandem catalysis performance between reverse water gas shift (RWGS) reaction chain propagation reaction. The results showed that introduction potassium could improve RWGS growth capacity by utilizing abundant oxygen vacancy, strong competitive adsorption. With further addition manganese, more active carbides sites with benign dispersion detected owing interaction species. When titanium added, catalytic improved stronger adsorption longer resistance time reactants. Therefore, achieved on corresponding K3/FeMn10Ti20 catalyst, achieving C5+ yield as high 1282.7 gfuelkgcat-1h-1 at conversion 44.9 % maintaining rather low by-products selectivity (9.6 CO, 12.8 CH4).

Selectivity and Performance of Ni-Mo/γ-Al2O3 Catalyst for Methanol Production with Reverse Water Gas Shift (RWGS) Reaction

One of the main reactions that can be used to reduce greenhouse gases emissions is Reverse Water Gas Shift (RWGS) reaction. Through this reaction CO2 is converted to CO to produce beneficial chemicals such as methanol. In this paper Mo/Al2O3 catalyst was prepared and then promoted with Ni ions through impregnation method to produce Ni-Mo/Al2O3 catalyst. The structures of the catalysts were stud...

Mechanistic Insights into CO2 Activation via Reverse Water−Gas Shift on Metal Surfaces

By the means of density functional theory calculations, we find that CO2 activation via reverse water−gas shift (r-WGS) follows different elementary steps on different metals (Pt, Rh, Ni, Cu, Ag, and Pd). We relate these differences to the interactions between the adsorbed oxygen and the metals, which strongly affect the dissociation activation energy. In particular, CO2 dissociation is favored...

Be12O12 Nano-cage as a Promising Catalyst for CO2 Hydrogenation

An efficient conversion of CO2 into valuable fuels and chemicals has been hotly pursued recently. Here, for the first time, we have explored a series of M12x12 nano-cages (M = B, Al, Be, Mg; X = N, P, O) for catalysis of CO2 to HCOOH. Two steps are identified in the hydrogenation process, namely, H2 activation to 2H*, and then 2H* transfer to CO2 forming HCOOH, where the barriers of two H* tran...
